Once-A-Day® Ecos™ Bowie-Dick Test Pack is a compact, fully disposable, and environmentally friendly Bowie-Dick test pack. It is lead, heavy-metal, and latex-free and is completely biodegradable. Applications

The Once-A-Day® Ecos™ test pack is designed for pre-vacuum sterilizer mechanical air removal testing at the start of each day, or after routine or other maintenance. It can detect low temperature/pressure conditions, wet, and superheated steam.

How to Use

1. Place the Once-A-Day® Ecos™ test pack inside the sterilizer chamber on the bottom rack.
2. Run a standard pre-vacuum sterilization cycle at 273.2°F/134°C using a 3.5-minute exposure time.
3. After the sterilization cycle is complete, remove the Once-A-Day® Ecos™ test pack from the sterilizer chamber and examine the test sheet.

Interpreting the Results

A properly processed Once-A-Day® Ecos™ test pack will exhibit a uniform black color change across the entire surface of the sheet. Any deviation from a full color change, such as white areas or uneven coloring, indicates a sterilizer malfunction.
