Description
Duo-Spore® Biological Indicator Test With Culture Service Program features Biological Indicator Strips prepared from suspensions of Geobacillus stearothermophilus and Bacillus atrophaeus, encased in a peel-open glassine pouch. The glassine pouch allows for exposure of the enclosed strip to the sterilant without the risk of contamination, allowing for worry-free transfer to culture media after cycle completion.

Utilizing the Culture Service Program can help you avoid incubating indicator strips at your facility. Simply mail your processed indicators to the Propper Laboratory for this convenient, done-for-you service. Biological indicator results are then provided within a 48-hour incubation period and are accessible through our secure online portal. Each test envelope conveniently contains two test strips and one control strip, separated by color-coded pouches for ease and accuracy in biological testing.

Use of Duo-Spore® Biological Indicator
AAMI and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, facilities must perform biological monitoring.:

- At least weekly and preferably daily with steam and dry heat sterilizers
NOTE: Monitor every load containing implants with biological indicators.
